Merit 30 has a MED certificate and is thus accepted for painting interior ship surfaces. MED-certified products are safe to use due to their low flame-spread characteristics and not producing excessive quantities of smoke and toxic products.
A two-component acid-catalyzed lacquer.
An all-round lacquer with good filling properties. • The emission level of this product fulfils the requirements of E1 classification for surface treatment materials. The product has been tested according to the standard EN 717-1, and its formaldehyde emission rate is less than 0.124 mg/m³ air. • The product has MED (Marine Equipment Directive) certificate no VTT-C-11165-15-14 and is thus accepted for painting surfaces inside the ships. • Recommended for furniture, doors and other similar wooden surfaces.
Enhances the appearance of stained wood
Wooden surfaces can be colored with either the solvent-borne Dicco Color or the water-borne Akvi Color stain before applying Merit 30. The lacquer enhances the appearance of stained wood.
